ASUS Malaysia today announced a small update for its laptop portfolio, introducing new SKUs for gaming laptops featuring the recently-announced NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 Laptop GPU. A total of five models features this new entry-level GPU, all of which are now available nationwide.

The five laptops featuring RTX 5050 include: ROG Strix G16 (G614), ROG Strix G16 (G615), TUF Gaming A16, TUF Gaming F16, and ASUS Gaming V16. Specs and pricing are as follows:

As a quick refresher, the RTX 5050 Laptop GPU packs 2,560 CUDA cores, along with 8GB of GDDR7 memory, which differentiates itself from the desktop card with older GDDR6 memory. Most models listed here stick to 100W+15W TGP, whereas the Gaming V16 stick to a modest 55W TGP due to its leaner cooling setup.
Pokdepinion: A bit odd to see Intel Core 13th Gen still showing up in new gaming laptops given its age.
